Rainbow

Rain! We love rain! We depend on the rain here to water everything - and its been looking soooo dry lately! We have been grateful for the pouring rain that we have been blessed with the last couple of days. We found this rainbow in our very own back yard when the sun came out for a bit, and we thought it was so beautiful, we had to take a picture!

Bryce the Rebel

I just found out that Bryce won the NCFR (National Conference on Family Relations) Religion and Family Life Section Student/New Professional Outstanding Paper Award! It was a paper he submitted to present at a professional conference this November and there is only one winner selected in each field! I am so proud of him. They will present him with an award at the conference in Minneapolis! Nice job, babe!

Oh, and here is a picture of him on his new motorcycle. Very grateful I'm not running him back and forth to work any more!

37 Weeks

I'm getting bigger and bigger everyday and fewer and fewer clothes fit me. So, here is a picture in my final days . . .

Our New Ride

No, its not our new honda, nor Bryce's new motorcycle - its our kids new ride! We got it at a yard sale on Saturday for $20 bucks and the only time they aren't on it is when we have to charge the battery! It is so fun! I always wanted one of these as a kid, do you think I will fit?

California

We took a week to visit Bryce's sister, Tonya, and her family in California. We were fortunate enough to be there with his other sister, Talana, and her family too! We had a blast - here are a few of the fun things we did:

Arizona

Taking Time to Smell the Roses

While driving across country this summer, we were able to see some amazing sights along the way. We decided too late to take pictures of what we saw, but here are some pictures of some things we saw along the way - sometimes we even took time to stop and stretch out to get closer looks.

(cliff dwellings in Northern AZ, mountains and cliffs somewhere between Utah and AZ, rainstorms, sunrises and moon-rises, Colorado river canyons. Oh, and one in North Carolina. Can you guess which one that is??)
